  • Thanks for the lesson, but I still am really confused how it works. I see twitter as a stalkers paradise tool.

I want to learn so bad, but still really unclear how to get NEW customers, or to get people to follow me. I seem to be wasting my time here. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?!?!

If I have 50 followers let's say, and the individual follows me, how will they see my post if they are following 100 other people? Surely they must miss hundreds of tweets.

  • @furniss2008 I follow hundreds of people, but I don't miss the tweets of those that I want to keep up with. Some ppl use software that keep track of certain followers, while others like me just simply add people to a list and keep up with those on that list or I will go directly to a certain person's page. I lot has changed since I created this video because back then lists didn't exist.

  • @furniss2008 Once you start tweeting about things in your industry, follow others who are in your industry and some of them will start to follow you back. It takes time but your followers will grow naturally. Also if you have a blog and start posting info that your target audience is interested in, people will find your blog and click on your twitter icon (which you should have on your blog) so that they can follow you on twitter.
