GTP Custom HUD Finished Product on Windshield

This is it, the project is in it's final form all on permanent boards and hooked up. The video just shows me driving a bit with the display, and changing the parameters at the end. Enjoy!

If you just made one that added KR, Oil pressure, Trans temp, and an option for boost gauge, to the original hud people would be willing to pay for it I'd take one with jusr Kr

@killdac While I only show normal OBD2 parameters in the video, I tested the until with Mode 22 params like KR just fine :)

@joshxkilla Yes, but there are 2 problems. There's about $700 in materials there, and it would be hard as hell to mod your dash to get it to look right. It would certainly be a far cry from a bolt on mod. I considered a smaller version, but that really only solves the cost problem.

@seindich It's tough to see, even my stock one can go completely out in the sun though. You can fix this a bit by isolating how much of the screen is exposed.

How you get read of reflection from other side of the windshield glass?

you can get universal HUD's on ebay for 150 ..measure oil,temp,and battery and speed and RPM..i got on in my third gen and its great.

should have put it in a nicer car ....don't GTP's come with a stock head's up display do you really need all that info in your windshield?
