Lee should have been hung ("hanged"). He was a U.S. Army officer who fought against the United States. The "States Rights" claim is a fig leaf. It was slavery. What a cause to take pride in. Go Sherman!

Confederates are the traitors and terrorists. Sherman is an American hero. He helped to end the war far more quickly than it would have if he had not abandoned his supply lines. He did what he knew he had too - put the Confederate traitors out of their misery as swiftly as possible. Thank him for his mercy and burn a true symbol of terrorism - the Confederate Flag.

Sherman ended the war killed far less people than Grant, wasn't happy of the worst which happened during his March but said openly he isn't sorry it happened. He is a Hero in my eyes. The acts commited against his army during their march were worse than any acts they commited against any Civilians. Example Cavalry dragging Prisoners from his army ahead of his march just to hang them in a series of trees in a attempt to intimidate Sherman's soldiers.

I didn't say sold, I said sent. During the Gettysburg Campaign Lee's men took free black people from the North and sent them South to be slaves

Sold free blacks into slavery? BULLSHIT! Lee suggested ALL slaves be freed and be allowed to enlisted into the army. And in order to be a war criminal, he would have had to commit genocide, which Lee and his men did NOT do. Lee clearly stated upon entering Pennsylvania with his men, "THIS IS NOT A CAMPAIGN OF REVENGE, WE ARE HERE TO FIGHT THE ENEMY LEAVE THE CIVILIANS ALONE". Sherman NEVER said that. In fact letters home to his wife proved he WANTED to exterminate everyone in Georgia

Um NOOOOOOOOO. Number one you douche bag, my family were NEVER Slave holders they were SHARE CROPPERS. My grandpa worked in a tobacco field. THATS A LOT HARDER THAN PICKING COTTON, considering the fact 1 tobacco plant weighs more than 50 pounds and a little cotton ball weighs less than an ounce. SO DO NOT PULL THAT SLAVE CARD WITH ME. The CSA did NOT fight for slavery.
