The fiddle style sounds more like that of Irish playing in this song. It blends real nicely in this tune.

yea, we can figure out it's "complex" and doesn't conform to "bluegrass"...no vid commentary needed - detracts from WHAT IT IS.

I have a very hard time thinking of any other group with the raw, unbridled, unrestrained talent that was present in Nickel Creek. I sincerely hope they reunite again at some point to bring us another dose of the brilliance which allows me to listen to their songs a hundred times...yet never hear the same thing twice. There simply is not a single aspect of their performance which could faulted. Technically, they are brilliant, their chording complex, their vocals flawless...just wow.

@WillisMcGillicutty Apparently, that album is ridiculously hard to find and ridiculously expensive, but I'd give both my right and left feet for a copy. It was self-released by the band back in the 90's, and they don't plan to re-issue it.
