Thriller Series - The Return Of Andrew Bentley (1/5)

Ellis and Sheila Corbett are summoned on urgent business by Ellis's Uncle Amos. Uncle Amos is quite mad but and has some shocking news for the pair. He tells them that he is dying and, since he has no one else to leave his possessions to, he is willing his entire estate to Ellis.

There are conditions to the inheritance though and Ellis gives his solemn vow to abide by those conditions.

John Newland from One Step Beyond plays the role of Ellis Corbett. Sheila Corbett is played by Antoinette Bower. Boris Karloff is the narrator.

The Thriller television series aired from 1960-1962 on NBC with Boriss Karloff as host.

5-stars! (i was born in 1965 ) I just saw this episode on dvd a half hour ago! wow! john newland (one step beyond host!) and antoinette bower! (startrek-tos catspaw..slyvia ....twilight zone probe-7 over and out...eve...the invaders condition red) what a masterpiece!...sent chills many times!...fantastic!

Thank you for posting this, I was looking for it. I remember seeig this as a child years ago and was terrified, but a the same time fascinated by it. Even today i still gives me a little chill. The actor who plays Andrew, the way they photograph him makes him look very scary.

@hauntedscarecrowmurd You're right! I missed your comment until I came back & was thinking about a comment of my own. "Catspaw" was a favorite episode of mine. Remember "Journey to Babel"? Spock was trying to figure out why a murder had been committed & said there was no logic in it. An Andorian ambassador advised Spock that murders are usually committed for reasons of passion, not logic. That Andorian was Reggie Nalder!
