Mysterious light on tree (Auld Lang Syne)

A phenomenal nightly - Auld Lang Syne song being chanted by a Gregorian choir around my neighbourhood, whereas a tree mysteriously lights up with a flashing strange beam...

What is that light on the tree?  A tiny flash bulb?

And what are those flying coloured sticks at the end? I love the Gregorian chant a lot!!

@0lympia2008 No flash light or bulb was seen on the tree, while I was talking shots of the house in the back and streets out of nowhere that light flashed by in seconds - just out of nowhere, and I don't know what it was... I went there in the morning to exam the tree, there was no bulb or light attached to it... it's so mind boggling!!

There must be many physical explanation for the light to appear, I can't make an assessment from this tiny video-shot! However this is a great rendition...
