I used to play with David. You sort of remind me of him. You should check out a kid in Austin named Carson Brock. He's posted a few videos on YouTube.

u probably studied every performance of this song, i am sure of that. But how u managed to play this amazing song?? Im saying that because is very difficult to me play without reliables tabs...or just seeing someone playing...

If memory serves, Eric played "Jerry Reed" on acoustic guitar at his first Austin City Limits appearance (1984?).

No, he wasn't at that performance. Eric did come to GIT the year before (1984) and give a clinic on that same stage though.
