I owned a BMW sold it got the g8 gxp I loved the power! Handling was much worse then the BMW. Sold the g8 bought a g35 coupe..what a mistake I made. Now I am searching for a decent priced gxp...looks like I need to settle with the gt. Sad.

There is a Holden SS-V special edition wearing the Pontiac grill. They did to use up the leftover pars that were meant for G8 but Pontiac was killed.

I don't think it's quite fair to say that. True, Holden's been part of GM for 80 years now, and GM is arguably the world's first international car maker (in the modern sense). If you look at the history, Holden's been consistently making the kind of performance muscle we started back in the 60's. If anything, the Aussies are getting all the great stuff the Big 3 are afraid to revive here.

@MrJab4309 Nice call. Plenty of GM 6-cyl engines with a lots of high end potential, especially turbocharged. As long as it comes with RWD or AWD. I'm so sick of this nice, safe, sensible fuckin' FWD. Really disappointed in GM trying to cram this 'FWD performance' horseshit down our throats. Making me puke.
