Chemical treatments are not the preferred way, #1 bed bugs are very resistant to pesticides #2 Chemicals will not kill the eggs, since a bedbug goes from hatching to reproducing in 21 days you will need to treat your house twice in 21 days. Currently the most effective way to treat for bedbugs is heat. Heating the house to 125 degrees for 4 hours will kill eggs and adults.
