The 50th anniversary of the Tibetan uprising in China, passed off peacefully on the 10th of March 2009.

But shocking visuals have now emerged, showing Tibetan monks and civilians, being mercilessly beaten up, allegedly, by Chinese security personnel, during the protests last year. This footage has been released by the Tibetan government in Exile, and we must warn you, that portions of what you are about to see, may be disturbing.

  • Cowardly communist soldiers have been shooting unarmed Tibetans, including woman and children for 50 years.

The network of roads and communications built by the Chinese in Tibet mirrors the locations of forests and mineral reserves indiscriminately exploited by the Chinese Government.

Tibetans don't want a communist education.

  • The Dalai Lama warned of potentially "catastrophic consequences" of the clashes, which he said could prompt a huge crackdown by Beijing on the local population.

Hundreds of ethnic Tibetan people had gathered at the Kirti monastery Tuesday trying to stop authorities moving out monks for government-mandated "re-education," according to exiled Tibetans and activists. That prompted armed police to lockdown the monastery with as many as 2,500 monks inside.

"Dispatches Undercover in Tibet" does an interview with a woman in a resettlement camp.

Tibet websites probably cover that issue as well. Google

    forced resettlement tibetan nomads

Chinese want land for mining or whatever. Tibetans want don't want the land wrecked as far as I know.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT

Do you have evidence, besides hearsay, that Tibetan nomads are being forcibly resettled? It seems that the Chinese are damned if they do and damned if they don't help Tibetan nomads.

  • @metricprime

Lhasa is a modern Chinese city now.

Street names have been changed and has nearly 1000 brothels in Tibet's most sacred city.

  • @jimgzorn

Do he say how many Tibetan nomads been forcibly resettled and lost their land ?
