@MaesTool When I was working on these we'd occasionally get one stuck on the bottom. Re-wiring the motor into reverse, then jogging back was the first step. If no go, then hydraulic jacks were used to help ease the pressure on the ram.

I work for a small stamping company in NC, the biggest presses we have are 100 ton Minsters. We don't have anywhere near the feeders and coilers/reelers I see here. We make do with a lot of obsolete equipment. I would not know how to act if I had that kind of equipment to use at work.

What is the tonnage? Meesa be from... Meeechigan. Now. That looks like a 400 ton straight side. You bottom out? First, you stop flywheel. Reverse. that is with boosted air pressure. I that doesn't work, use hyrdraulics to expand the tie rods, remove shims. then try again. If that doesn't work, put torches on the tie rods, expand the length of them. Boost air to clutch. BTW: DON'T FUCK IT UP IN THE 1ST PLACE. the dies might explode. I'm from MEECHIGAN We know.

Any idea what that finished part was for Chrysler? Very cool video, thanks.

I believe that is for the Ford F 150. We have not ran that die a long time. People just are not buying large trucks because of gas prices.
