Good job! I love seeing people solo things and using everything they have learned and take it into account. It's always good to remember when new things come out (equips, jobs, ect.) to look for anything they could be used for.

I hope to see more videos of your soloing stuff ^^b I plan on starting my solo log collection and see how far I can go on blu.

FYI, this was before Merits, and notice I don't exactly have the most end-all/be-all of gear in this video. I'm using an Emperor Hairpin, Warlock's Tabard, a Wise Wizard's Anelace (from my home nation) among others. Not exactly the best gear in the world.

while he wuz immune i kited with eva and earth staff gear and also i have 20 second third eye from meriting and also i intimidate him and do damage bonus

How did you get around his damage immune phase? Only reason I can think of using sam/drg for is solo skill chains. Does Skill Chain damage still affect him or somthing? I thought it was still classed as physical damage in terms of hitting physical immune mobs.

i did this guys sam/drg with merits and killed him solo

any/nin job wouldnt work as the shadowlord goes through a phase of being immune to magical damage and a phase of being immune to physical damage. You need someone who can deal both physical and magic attacks to solo it. The only exception being a mnk with formless strikes. ^^

only jobs i know that i have heard of soloing this is RDM/NIN and DRK/NIN...any /NIN job coud prbably do it solo but they would require items (lol items :P)
