While all of you talk good about their customer service, I had a different experience and will not buy Net10 phone again. Their phones are hotwired to Net10 network and you cannot interchange a sim card from another service. (For example, I can interchange T-mobile with ATT). You would think that since Net10 is owned by Tracfone that the sim card would be interchangeable but it's not.
Another problem I had was no rollover minutes. Once you use the minutes, they don't carry over.
Couldn't agree with you more sykes. I have been a Net10 customer for years and have still not had to deal with customer service which really does say a lot! For me Net10 has been reliable, hassle free and cheap
@sykes445 I havent had to deal with them either... There's so much info on blogs and forums that I just learn how to answer my own questions:) I have been loving life with net10! the coverage is great, good choice of phones and with the $50 unlimited deal, you save buckets of cash
I haven't had to deal with NET10's customer service yet, so I'm not sure what they're like, but I think it's a good sign that I haven't had to deal with them as of yet. That just means there hasn't been anything wrong with my phone or my service, so yay!
@howlingwoolf3 I am actually a traveling salesman across the US and the phone for me is NET10. Their service is just the same or if not better than the leading service providers in the nation and yet i am paying half than what i used pay with a contract phone. Go figure! I think its just because they use both Verizon and at&t service towers.
We specifically chose Net10 plans because we travel around the US allot for our photography, get into beautiful natural settings, sometimes remote areas to get the right shot. I was told Net10 had the best reception amongst all the prepaid companies because they use AT&T, Verizon & T-mobile, well that's seems to be true as we've never had problems getting a signal and getting clear reception no matter where we've been.
@Derlingful I went to get the prepaid plan for my old Net10 phone as I've been with them for years but was told my phone wasn't compatible with the unlimited plan so they gave me a new phone free of charge!! It's wonderful not having to worry about running out of minutes and being able to talk as long as I like...and all for only $50.00 a month!
I'm in a happy place everytime I realize that Net 10 offers me service in places I never had service before. It works on the Verizon and AT&T networks so you're getting the best from both worlds
because of my job, I sometimes need a ton of minutes and sometimes don't need much at all, depending on my travel schedule. In the past, I've had to get unlimited plans with my provider so that I don't have to pay extra fees for going over, but when I don't use a lot, then I'm overspending like crazy. Net 10's month to month flexibility lets me get unlimited when I know I'll be on the road, and very few the next month when I'm at the office, so I spend 70 dollars for two months instead of 200!
Unlimited on Net10 is great. I came late to the party and was using the old net10 but just found out that I didn't have to buy a new phone to do it, just use what I already had... my old net10 phone (actually about a year and a half old.) Great deal and savings.
