Twitter and privacy - impossible union?

This week Twitter rocked the world after British journalist Guy Adams had his account suspended for criticizing NBC's Olympic broadcast Michael Humphrey of Forbes.com wrote about the case and brings us the details.

I don't think this is a privacy issue. This guy is on a "social" network. ie: public to the world. This, to me, is a censorship issue. How does Twitter tattle on a criticizing tweet and shut the guy down? THAT is really scary.

Con-artists trying to bamboozle people into these "social media sites" with "cyber-friends" at cyber speed. "There is more to life than increasing its speed" Mahatma Gandhi.

Face to face communication is the honest heart to heart communication. "Facebook and Twitter" trying to con people into living in "cyber-bullcrap society" which ultimately benefits those who are in control of their accounts. What's happening to bank accounts and gold purchases recently ?

This isnt a big deal at all, if u put out a tweet wouldnt u want the whole world to see it? twitter shouldnt and doesnt have to do with privacy...
