Which species of milk snake stays small? I heard some only get maybe as big as a male western hognose
-
@Maniplokius Probably as a treat, But im still not sure. And if its true youd need to warm it, So it gives of warmth so the snake thinks its alive, but the problem with feeding it peices of chicken is it doesnt look alive.
Just try and find a place with frozen mice, id get pinkies and cut them in half for a young snake.

@CHiiNupTV ...but a guy in my pet shop told me that you can also feed it with chicken that contains vitamins...
-
@Maniplokius Obviously its going to hurt if it bites you, But depending on how much it hurts depends on you, and your tolerance to pain. This snake does not carry venom, Please dont get one yet, DO YOUR RESEARCH wait a month longer make sure you have everything set up. And no you cant feed them only on eggs it is fattening, if you cant get frozen mice then im sorry go for something like a garter that feeds off crickets. Again make sure you now everything about the snake before you get it bye

The water in the dish seems fine. Preferably you want enough water in the dish for the snake to bathe in if it wishes.

Adults can eat one adult mouse per week. I usually give my snakes 48 hours to digest the meal, and then I'm free to handle them.
