@Ms15101946; If you listen carefully, she actually says "He's walking down..." There 's a bit of distortion in the sound. She can speak English perfectly with absolutely no accent. Hikaru was born in Japan but she grew up in California.

@tinagetmetheaxe She was a well-known singer in Japan in late 80's and early 90's and now undoubtedly is retired! I like her English songs very much.

This lady is awesome, I'm sure Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield are proud of her, she did fantastic with a song written before she was born. and she's a beautiful woman as well. Of course credit also goes to the band performing with her.

@Ms15101946 yes, you are right and really observant. I think it is a fault of pronunciation but she actually gave us a charming rendition anyway.
