  • what if you want to go to the gym 7 days a week to keep yourself in the game but do 4 days weight training and 3 days light cardio. over training?

  • @DUAL727 The less times you go to the gym per week the more extended workout you can do per session. Its all about total volume. You wouldnt be able to sustain 2 hours in the gym if you are on a 5 days split like me. Also when we say an hour of workout, that doesnt include the stretching and cardio. Goodluck & keep it up :)

  • I'm training 3 times a week about 1.5 - 2 hours with warm up, stretching and cardio. I should be overtraining but I'm not. I actually noticed a dramatic increase in my immune system when I started to lift weights. And my heart? I think it's getting stronger with my every workout. Oh, and my motivation? It's top level.

  • should i bulk in a 3 day split? or 4 day split? does it really matter?

  • What's your view on DC training? ("Dog crap")

I only do plyometrics now so I don't really abuse my body with heavy weights - only my own body weight with many repetitions.

I just heard of DC training and it sounds interesting.

  • also, chronic overtraining will lead to a drop in testosterone which is no fun.... trust me, i know from experience

  • Awesome videos man, subscribed !

got here from twinmuscleworkout btw :)

  • I have a question brother. Sometimes I lift weights for like two hours when i wanna hit two different muscles, is it bad to eat high protein bars when I feel a bit weaker to gain energy and continue my workout?

  • Good job man. thanks.

  • @ADTT71 not true...Overtraining depends on a number of factors, such as how much rest you get outside of the gym(like the nature of ur job), your sleep, your diet, you age etc...just saying you are overtraining if you spend more than an hour in the gym is simply incorrect.

Take my case for example.I'm a 23 yr old financial analyst(ie, desk job). I will recover far quicker than a 30 yr old bloke who is a construction worker.
