In 2005, Dove commissioned a global study based on the hypothesis that women have a narrow definition of beauty. The global study - The Real Truth About Beauty found that only a startling 2% of women describe themselves as beautiful, and served as the foundation for the now award winning Campaign for Real Beauty.

  • Oh wow. This is an amazing video. It astonishes me how much truth there is to it. Can't wait to find a guy like this that will never see my imperfections. <3

  • I love this! Beauty is something we women worry so much about. God thinks we're all beautiful because we are his design :)

  • I remeber watching this during PE with the girls in my 7th grade class:) I wish we still did this in HIgh School, because I think that's when the pressure to be "Beatiful, flawless, and sexy" is really being pushed.

  • As a young teeange girl having experienced beauty pressure but seen it in MUCH worse cases for other girls my age...I think this is beautiful. It made me cry. :')

  • to any girl watching this:

    you're beautiful:]

  • That's the most adorable thing ever!!!! x3

  • Awww my boyfriend sent me this :] this is the sweetest thing I've seen in a while.

  • As cheesy and sweet as this is, it is really pretty true. I'm dating the most wonderful guy who has helped me see that I am beautiful even though it is so hard for me to see that. I wish that every girl were as lucky as me.

  • i hate this, because it's still perpetuating the idea that what men think and what others think is more important than finding peace with yourself and realizing that 'beauty' is not the most important thing.

  • i cry everytime i see this video . because i am ''amy'' and for once i wish that someone looked at me the way that , that boy looked at amy in the video ..
