What chart did it hit #1 on. It hit #2 pop in Billboard. G, as you know, Laura didn't sing live, She lip-synched, of course. God bless!

"Gloria" peaked at #1 on the ARC weekly (US) charts for one week.
It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
And it hit #1 in Canada and Australia (among many others).
But I (and many others) use the term '#1 hit' as a general term.
But in this case, it is also 'technically' correct.
