This is the longer version of the video for Chattanooga (TN) Fire Academy 2011, which contains the "Thriller" segment. It also pays homage to the Hawaii Five-O TV series and the Rocky films. This video is dedicated to the men and women of Chattanooga Fire Academy 2011, who graduated Feb. 24th, 2011. While receiving their training in the academy, they put in some extra time and effort to pay a little tribute to a classic video created by Michael Jackson. No doubt it's hard to dance dressed up like a zombie, but try doing it dressed in full firefighter turnout gear! This video is a gift to the graduates of Chattanooga Fire Academy 2011, and is not for sale. No profit was made from the production of this video. If you liked this video, you might check out my video for Chattanooga Fire Academy 2009. It's got a James Bond theme and you can see it by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBqhd83cUpI

  • @EnduroSegler Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear from you Austria. I hope to visit there some day.

  • @CFDPRGUY You're welcome. Now I watched this video 5 times, and in this moment I realised at 9:02 min, that you have a Rosenbauer truck = product of Austria :-)))) Is this a ladder or a quint?

  • @EnduroSegler I'm told it is indeed a Rosenbauer, Specifically, it's a Rosenbauer of America product. The chassis make is Spartan with a Gladiator cab. It is a 75- foot Quint with command seat, and 1,500 gallon a minute Darley pump. The engine is a Cummins ISX 500 hp. The wheel base is 216” with an overall length of 36’ 5”.

  • What kind of helmets do they have?

  • @legofiredepartment55 I'm told they are "Lite Force 2" from Morning Pride.

Teamwork, cameraderie, esprit de corps, fun, serious, taking care of the public, teaching how to do it right, physical conditioning, friendship, responsibility, and never taking things too serious.

Kudos from THIS west coast fire chief...
