Overweight passengers are a major concern for airlines today. In this weeks episode, Southwest's controversial decision requiring overweight travelers to purchase an extra seat is put to the test. Before taking off, two overweight customers are asked to take the armrest test. Only one will pass and the other will have to purchase a second ticket. Will Southwest agents treat this case with utmost courtesy and consideration?

The problem is inconsistency. Making these judgments arbitrarily is bad policy. If someone can fly on one SW flight problem free, then arbitrarily be denied a seat, or required to buy another seat, on another flight, then of course people will feel they are being treated discriminatorily.

why don't people fly out a day BEFORE they're due to get on a cruise and stare at the ocean for fuck knows how long... their fault for leaving things to the last minute. BLEH!

At 3:50 "i didn't even get a free drink out of it" well it's called life. If you think it's soo bad to get on a airline and have your flight be delayed, cancelled or whatever, you really should try living in another country first. She had no idea how bad people have it outside of the US. Things here are such a luxury and people just crap on it and take it for granted. Dispicable.
