That is right. May Allah help all Muslim to attain a deeper understanding of the Quran and implement it.

I agree. You will have a hard time implementnig the Quran if you can't understand it, and even in prayer you will have zero khushoo. Another thing is that some English translations are really bad like Ali's. They contain many mistakes and errors. So it's dangerous if a person took their understanding from it. But insha'Allah we can all learn arabic, so we can get the best out of the Quran.

yeah, i think that is true for most people. It is a bit difficult to understand archaic English used in other translation. Even worse, when there is no translation available in the person native language, many have to use the English translation. You can imagine the difficulties they will face with archaic English!

Yes that is the translation, i use it as well. I like how easily you can understand everything,how he uses normal/modern English; also how he inserts tasfir to give you a greater understanding. Or rather they (including Taqi-ud-Din). Thank you but i usually just Noble Quran website, or the one I have at home.

The translation I use is by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan. So, I'm not sure if this translation is what referred to as Muhsin Khan translation or it is another one?!! Anyway, this translation is available online at King Fahad Quran Complex website. I also have it as one pdf file. I think i downloaded that file sometime ago from islamway website but not quite sure. I can upload it for you if you need it.
