Are skills the new money?

Its a new way of doing business. Instead of paying somebody to do a job, you offer your skills in return. The idea has caught on in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, where locals have adopted a 'time banking' scheme, enabling them to preserve money.

barter system.. i like it. as it turns out, you can get about 4 -5 times more in return under that system. instead of being forced t use money which is taken away for "taxes"

Skills are the old money. The current financial crisis is causing people to wake up and realize the shell game the banks play with paper money. They're adapting to it out of necessity. It's good that people are taking some of the power back to themselves and away from the banks.
