when i watched this as a kid , i felt no different baout balc people all i was intrested in is the cartoons if anything it made me enjoy black peoples voice more , i liked them in this film , the wolrd these days is crap and full of fucking losers

My family had like one or two female slaves a long time ago to help raise the kids and clean the house and stuff, lol (they had like 15 kids) and they were pretty much treated like aunts or something like that... they never fought in the civil war, they just freed them when they had to and built them each a little house on their property and still took care of them, lol... like it or not, that's how it was... what else were they gonna do?

@WillScarlet16 There was probably still a lot of animosity between formal slave masters and the freed slaves, such as the KKK and stuff like that, lol... the black people at the time probably wanted to get along with everybody as much as they could... and plus, subservience was all they knew at this point, it's not unheard of for the white families to actually care for their slaves as though they were a member of the family... most of the "freed" slaves ended up still doing

@WillScarlet16 Maybe at the time, they were just happy to be fuckin free and have the ability to own land and marry whoever they wanted to and do what they want to with their life and not have their children sold away and shit like that... you really think they're just gonna jump up and take control of everything immediately? Your opinion on things as they are nowadays has nothing to do with how shit was back then
