Ahh that's just great drumming man, I just scored a maple custom absolute which I love. There's a lot of people talking high praise on phx's. Great drumming, great to watch,

Is that a PHX snare too? They sounds amazing. Leave it to Yamaha.

Sound Great! What was the figure you played begining at the 2:38 mark? Great playing as usual!

@emilde12 Hey man. Thanks! That's a 6 stroke lick that starts with the kick. F R L R L L. The 'RL' following the kick is a hard flam. The last 'LL' are ghost notes. Try it slow first and play it as an even sextuplet, then once you get the sticking down, tighten up and exaggerate the flam.

What was wrong with the Pearl?

@adrianwaj Absolutely nothing!! The Reference series are fantastic drums! But there's fantastic....then there's amazing...then there's PHX. I've seen, heard and played a lot of high end drums. But seriously, man; not to take away from all of the other great drums out there, but as far as I'M concerned, after PHX - there's nothin' else to upgrade to.
