and china's undergoing the same stage of growth as america did during the industrial revolution. do you KNOW how much pollution the industrial revolution contributed to the world? the only difference being that back then, environmentalists never existed to point fingers at america for ruining the world. but now china's trying to grow just like america once did and you're saying CHINA is polluting YOUR air?
this is why so many countries hate america. too fucking selfish.

ok america, listen. china has the biggest population in the WORLD, so by proportions alone, china should be EXPECTED to produce the biggest amount of pollution.

The PRC has also lifted more than 400 million people out of poverty in the last twenty years. Chinese people are getting wealthier, healthier and better educated as a result of socialism and economic growth.

For millennia the Chinese maintained a way of life that had a very low per capita ecological footprint. It was the bloody West in the first place that compelled China in the 19th Century to adopt the whole ethos of industrial growth which is slowly destroying the biosphere. Now the West is trying to compel China to change yet again in some new direction, namely towards an eco-friendly system.

Xinjiang Province China where the 1960s
and 1970 detonations rained radioactive dust onthe local population, and caused genetic damage and sickness for generations to come, China poisoned its own people and the chinese gommunist gov refusses to take car of the 1000s of children that have been ruined. Also Kazakhstan was contaminated. In the area of China around 1.5 million people received radiation doses high enough to cause leukemia and fetal damage radioactive contamination in China is aweful

China should invest some of it trillion dollar reserves into more renewable energy sources and nuclear so it doesnt have to use so much coal. If not, give it time and there'll be entire cities dying of thirst and there'll be famine again.
westerner always try to blame China for polluting the world, however, the biggest polluter in the world now is USA, and even China overpass USA as the world biggest polluter, China has 1.3 billion ppl and USA has less than half the population, is still explanable if China has twice as much as polution that USA has created. Besides, USA is a developed nation, why use trillion to go war, why not using a few hundred billion in clearing pollution, rather than always pointing fingers at others

What do civil rights have to do with pollution? At least EVERYONE in USA has rights. Check your dates when USA declared Statehood and the date of Emancipation of slaves. You are way off.
