"He was too great and idiot to realize his own audacity." Classic!

Thumbs-up if Polly reminds you of Umbrige from Harry Potter.

I really really hate Polly.

Maggie Smith is so very beautiful in this production! But, I dare say, I'm having the hardest time bringing myself to finish this, as it's far too much like a stage-play, and I don't care for that on the screen. And, I really don't like the camera work---it's annoying! But, Maggie is worth seeing, anyway.

@DAndraDreams Had to check that and turns out that Priscilla Morgan (Polly) did indeed play Mrs. Bennet in the 1980 version of Pride and Prejudice, not in the 90's version that's so close to my heart.

I love Maggie Smith and I believe that Polly is Mrs. Bennet from Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
I love this movie. Thanks for posting.
For some reason, I really really dislike that Polly... lol
But maybe I'm just really prejudiced since I love Maggie Smith so much... hahahha

an extrodinarily difficult thing to do this, to play this for television having not performed it on stage. the timing, pacing, delivery.
only Mags could get away with acting like this. sublime
