Proterra Inc., which develops and assembles fuel cell hybrid-powered transit vehicles, announced that it will locate a facility for research and development as well as assembly of its products at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville. A host of local and state leaders joined Proterra and Clemson University officials for the announcement.
