The Sounds of Summer concert series is part of a parish-wide celebration of the 200th anniversary of the creation of East Baton Rouge Parish. The Mayor and the Metro Council have joined with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and area media sponsors to create The Sounds of Summer music series as a highlight of a host of quality arts culture and entertainment opportunities that will take place in East Baton Rouge Parish from June to August. The celebration will culminate with the Louisiana Balloon Festival in August.
