  • What a great Aussie band of the early 80's. If only Jeremy Oxley could have exorcised his demons. They were a blast live & I can still play their cd's today as they last the test of time

  • I think its reported well enough( mentioned on best of album sleeve) that Jeremy had a mental illness of some sort. He'd had a top ten Aust. album and been NSW no. 1 junior surfer by the time he was 20. which is good going. He certainly went his own way which is clear in this film clip. Surfing a long board in speedo's in the mid 80's was about as non conformist as you could get. More power to him. Loved his stuff.

  • Champion band and this song rocks. Never gets old.

  • @snkjxb it was his brother in the Speedos but yes this was about the beginning of the end of the band I believe

  • like Alone With You (1981), You Need A Friend (1982), and Is This Real (1982) better, but worldwide there seemed to be this musical shift from the early to mid '80's where almost every band (outside of genres like Metal) got poppier

I believe this was around the time where Jeremy Oxley's mental/emotional problems got more severe as well, kind of halting the group; he's doing better now, though

  • im only 14 but i have to admit this is one of the best bands ever

  • such a catchy song!!

  • thank you so much for posting this I loved the sunnyboys in the 80s and still do ta x x

  • well said, but as to which Oxley bro is in speedos...I'd bet Jeremy is the one in yellow boardies with polka dots. Check the stance, champ short-boarder in the mix somewhere I'd say.

  • they have an amazing understanding of this existence & other dimensions... never underestimate what society's sick mind labels as a schizo-anything. I'll take one anyday over what is supposedly normal.

  • What an unbelievably fantastic song, and Jeremy is still the same genius, he's just learned a lot...don't think he won't send more of his great talent back into the world. All power to you Jeremy...it's a big world and bigger for this fantastic band.

  • Poor quality sound but thanks for the clip.
