  • Never thought to look for other Barry McGuire stuff, but that pissed-off sounding version of Sloop John B is pretty cool.

  • It is 3:56 in the song, and 4:46 on the video. It is the EXACT same line!

  • PF Sloane ripped off that line "What exactly is the matter?", the words and the vocal melody, from Bob Dylan's Ballad in Plain D

  • 80s New Wavers Red Rockers covered "Eve of Destruction" as a single. Their biggest hit was "China." Coincidence? Yes. Yes, it is.

  • Some of the PF Sloan stuff reminds me of The Hollies for some reason.
