@MrADanny oh okay, so when you've matured enough to have a child have fun paying 30 grand. or when you fall ill have fun paying thousands and thousands. If you knew anything about economics, you'd know that Canada's healthcare system is actually rated a "B" and the health care system in the states is rated at a "C" or lower. I would rather pay more taxes for my health and the health of my family . The fact that it costs 150k+ to put someone who committed an offense is ridiculous.

As well as create new laws when the crime rate again is the lowest it has been in over 30 years. Those citizens that are incarcerated are paid for by tax payers such as myself, with a population of only 37 million each person at 120,000-180,000 adds up fast. Harper isnt even a good conservative as the goal of conservative government is to minimize governmental intrusion and to let the people be. Creation of prisons, creating new laws with harsh penalties for pitiful crimes & censorship of media.
