@winryhater I've been playing guitar since I was 10, I'm well aware of alternate tunings. She is using standard tuning in this song, however; if you know how to play guitar that much is obvious. Her guitar being out of tune is dissonant and distracting, which is a shame considering her beautiful singing. I care about the piss-poor tuning not because I'm a pretentious guitar snob, but because it sounds shitty.

@Benwade90 You realise that there's more than just standard tuning for a guitar, right? And besides alternate tunings, she's also useing a capo. And besides, even if it is out of tune, it's probably intentional. Maybe Dawn here figured out a new way to tune her guitar that sounds good with her song. Whatever tuning it is, it's intentional and she most likely tuned her guitar o sound like that. So who cares about the tuning, as long as it sounds good?

Why do you think so many singers carry more than just one guitar with them to a concert. I went to Newton Faulkner some months ago, and he used 5 different guitars, each with a different acoustic sound. It was marvellous! You are completely right, why does a guitar have to be in tune? Just here more than just a tune, listen to the whole of the song for all who think they know what to do. Just do it yourself if you know it better!
