Scientist-turned-filmmaker Randy Olson talks about his new book, "Don't Be Such a Scientist: Talking Substance in an Age of Style." The book draws on his 30 year journey from being a tenured professor of marine biology to becoming the maker of such documentary features as "Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus," (Tribeca, '06, Showtime) and "Sizzle: A Global Warming Comedy" (Outfest '08). Olson's basic message for the communication of science to the general public is that it's great to BE a scientist, but just try not to be SUCH a scientist.
If critical thinking skills were given more importance in education, would it be necessary to engage in what could be seen to be cheap rhetorical tactics?

Oh, and how would any religious 'scientist' ttry to investigate anything besides trying to obtains evidence that the bible are true ?
To even consider any religious people as REAL scientist, would be to kick your self in the BUTT.
If noone see the obvious trap here, then you are not interested in the REAL truth.
And it's NOT within the pages of the BLACK BOOK !!
