I think I am actually quite fortunate to have the amount of exposure that I have today.

I'm having some odd flickering problems. I posted a video as a video response. Also, as I've never expressed this before: THANK YOU for these incredibly helpful tutorials!!! Yours were the ones that finally got things to start "sticking" for me, so keep doing what you're doing.

You're welcome. I've never heard or experienced this problem. I suggest you look or post on the OpenGL forums.

- How to 'bind a texture to a vertex array':
There is no such thing, unfortunately. You can, however, bind a texture, and then draw a certain portion of the vertex array. Alternatively, you can try multitexturing.
- How to render a texture with transparency:
Load the alpha component of the texture (make sure it has one, too). This is usually already done for you by the texture loading library. Then enable blending with the following function (GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA).
- Good luck!

I've been creating a class that I can use for speedcoding in ludum dare and am having quite a bit of trouble with textures. First of all, I have no idea on how to bind textures to vertex arrays, and second of all, I don't know how to render a texture with transparency. If you could help me out it would really mean a lot. Ludum dare starts this friday so I'm kind of in a hurry. Thanks.

It looks like you loading the texture in the render loop, is that true?
