  • Advice for car buyers, do ur research b-4 stepping in a dealership.yes. But you need to research yourself as well..not just the dealer or inventory. If you are a 490 beacon with 2 repos and a $1500 a mth income dont go to a dealer looking for a 30k car when you can barely qualify for a 10K car..ya know. Dont get your feelings hurt and bash dealers for UR inability to purchase..after all it wasnt the dealers fault that you messed up your credit

  • Thank you for the comments txdealer123. I am in agreement with you about the customer "researching themselves". I have customers that only take home $1500 a month with $800 being paid out for bills and they still come in and try to buy a $30k car. Then they get angry and call us names when we tell them what the payment will be. When we try to show them a car that falls within their budget of $250 to $300 a month, they turn their noses up.

  • For the people that are able to buy what you want dont walk in a dealership asking for invoice minus rebate and holdback and expect to get good customer service or have the salesman say ok,,you got a dealThose days are overespecially if the big three fold.

  • be my guest

  • sure I don't mind you using my words at all...

  • Thanks for the comments. My best advice for car shoppers is before they set foot on any car lot, do their research. Find a reputable dealership and a reputable car salesperson to help you BEFORE you go out. That way you shouldn't have to record everything. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Do you mind if I include them in my next book as long as you are given credit?
