I accept that some people have problems, but the number of people that just do this sort of thing for attention or because they think it will help them fit in with their "scene" is astounding. Personally I have no time to work out who is an attention seekeor or who actually needs help.

I think this is an amazing video, honey, and this comes from the heart of someone who is an artist herself and who has been struggling with self harm -- and all of the problems that come with it -- for over a decade. Your work has inspired me to make videos of my own about the subject, because before I saw this, I was too scared to bring it into the light. Thank you.

@patchbobbins Well if you don't have time to work out who is an attention seeker and who actually needs help, then don't. No one asked you for your opinion. How do you determine if someone is doing it for attention anyway? You're not a trained professional, just an idiot.

Personally, I think that people who label cutters as "attention seekers" are just frightened people who are too uncomfortable to accept that some people are in so much pain that they feel compelled to cut their skin open.

Since childhood I would strave. beat. strunggle myself. simply hate others because of what I had to put up with. Pray that I would die, actually attempt suicide by almost any exterme ways. Got placed into Thearpy. Pretty all of it. Even shutted myself from those who even cared.
