This slow motion sequence with the boys playing football with the priest there reminds me of a similar scene in Almodovars " Bad Education "

@ciurlandon Yes. David Lynch was right. "It's a strange world".
I just bought the Don't Torture a Duckling Fan Edition with Italian language audio. It will be interesting to see this in Italian. Of all the 37 Fulci films I've seen I only own 14 of them. But soon I will own 17 of them..

@237th è un film del lontano 1972! il creatore del "cyborg" è carlo rambaldi il creatore del costume di alien e di e.t.! gli effetti speciali sono visibili oggi ma all'epoca erano molto gore!

I love the flesh ripping sound FX, gonna definitely seek out this movie on DVD.

Can you imagine this movie out in a religius nation like1972 Italy? You have to see these movies by those years eyes my friends.Fulci was a great. He created a style long before the 80's American splatter explosion. He made movies with no-money budget.Odiens compared him and Argento but for me he dared more than Dario. This movie in particular is wonderfull. The sad thing is that he's completely forgot in Italy (except for cultors)while Tarantino loves him....Strange world.
I didn't know that human beings create sparks when they fall off a cliff!
