Join us for Summer Solstice Sunset between the Marker Stones at TriPod Rock, Pyramid Mountain Park, Morris County, NJ - www.tripodrock.org
What do you believe? Was the Rock carefully placed there by a retreating glacier about 100,000 years ago? Or did indigenous shamans raise it in place? The Marker Stones are also propped into position by three smaller boulders, and have marked the summer solstice sunset for perhaps thousands of years.
