  • There is any way to look for the best side to start? because i've been watching some videos and always see someone looking the cube before start. So i was wondering how they decide what is the best side to start.

  • actually the only reason we look at the cube is to find the edges to put in the cross (step 1). Therefor we scan the whole cube, but in fact most of us use the same color to start every time.

  • I always make a red cross. I can just as well use orange, since the second layer is just opposite then, but I don't do that very often. I just liked red when I started out (at age 13 btw)
