Lisa McPherson was laundering money for the crime syndicate, perhaps one of the reasons why the violently insane criminal Mike Rinder fled eventually. A Scientololgy crime syndicate business Lisa was working for was smuggleing in precious metals, paying Lisa about a quarter of a million dollars a year which she then laundered by giving to the crime syndicate for "courses" and other frauds. On the crime syndicate's books they had her "payments" all laundered up, no questions asked.
