@CosmosPrivateer YEAH?? I kinda get that too.....I was young in the '60's but remember the whole revolution, and remember the "right" 1980's backlash all too well.....my hope is these younger cats will revive the '60's from a fresh start!! if it takes re- inventing the wheel -so be it.

@KurtMoss Maybe if he had not been MURDERED I might accept that. Plus, who are you to say what people commit suicide for?

Two prep school radicals Misty watercolored memories.

We are reliving the sixties in 2011. It started a few years ago and because our news media sucks is the only reason you may not see it.
We live in a time loop that just keeps repeating or the people responsible for the story we live in can't come up with a better one.

suicide is for pussies

RIP Abbie. U were absolutely brilliant and principled, even if u carried it way too far. And one of the funniest zaniest guys ever. U will live on in history.

could you put this whole interview in order? (as in parts 1,2,3...)

@jeanpaulfelix The names of Soviet versions of Abbie Hoffman would not be found in the headlines or on TV... they would either be on gravestones or on rosters in Soviet run mental hospitals where they forced patients to take pain causing medications. It is true... even Amnesty International confirmed this in the early 80's.

Yea, I think we've done some plain bad things and some questionable things, but I also think evil is a religious notion. We've engaged in plenty of horrible acts, like every other country with economic and military power. Proportion is based on era, I think. Dropping the bomb on sleeping children by definition is abhorrent, but then again so was the rape of Nanking. We really aren't that more "evil" than any country that came before or since.
Is Abby wearing a reverse mohawk?
