This song is NOT telling people how they SHOULD act--it's a scathing indictment on how people are obsessed with material possessions, movie stars, and the cultural programming that is forced down our throats through the media... Lily is TRYING to wake you up, people! But apparently most of you are too far gone to "get it"... Sad, so sad...
