  • yes the cable is broke thks for the info and heads up. my safe is out of warranty. called the manufacturer and if it does not have a warranty they do not seem to be interested... so now it is key use only...

  • @TheShadetreeswrpp  GunVaults have a issue breaking a cable ran by the motor. Maybe it's something similar with yours. Worth looking into.

  • I advise to not spending a dime on this safe. i have had mine barely two years and the motor that releases the spring loaded door has quit. tried new batteries and all. all it does is make a whizzing sound and nothing... i would look for better quality and warranty.. and yes spend the money on a good one.. not this one...trying to find the company who backs this manufacturer etc is a loss.. the only thing that does work is the key and that kinda defeats the purpose in why i bought it..
