Here are some photos of the Skytrader's Airbus 319 landing on the blue ice runway at the Wilkes runway at the Casey base in the Antarctic (magnetic variation 99.3W!!). It operates between Oct & March flying between Hobart & the Wilkes runway. It is a 4.30 hour flight one way -- however, return fuel must be carried in the event of adverse weather that prevents a landing.

The aircraft can accommodate between 30 & 60 passengers, but it is predominantly a freighter.
