Good concise lesson

Some teachers desire to communicate the note name "g", the finger "4" the name of the finger "pinky",  the position "key of A 1rst position" fret # 8, second string, the name of the string B, the name of string below the second string "E" how it relates to second string 4th, Using 40 different ways to communicate the same thing makes lessons long and confusing. Maybe like this note I'm writing.

All these are correct and important but your teaching has a consistency of commun
