Good grief! I was in Tokyo when this was released. I loved it then, but it slipped off the radar. Great to hear these folks again. Eddie Marshall plays quite often in the SF bay area and it's always great to hear him.
Eddie Marshall (drums) and Gene Cherico killed em on this early example of the entire quartets prelude to defining a new definition of what if meant to really play the music, top to bottom! Marshall still plays with Toshi, who has got to be in her later 70s and can still blow! This is vintage American classical music, always relevant, always new, always righteous. When you hear Toshi, you can still hear Bud. So nice, so sweet.
