I've seen him 3x live & bought the records even when they were singles when they came out. The last time was in Paris, France in 2001. He's always different and very good. I knew some people who knew him in the '70s and tried to meet him but he was elusive. Lots of fans out there. Great artist. The French just loved him. He did a really cool Maurice Chevalier type of persona. I used to give the records as gifts to close friends. He was amazing in NYC but different on 2 consec nites!

Yeah, you shouldn't be offended by comments like those of Trapdoor's, it would be an insult to yourself to take offense to someone whose 2 uploaded videos and blatant trolling pretty much sum up the whole of their boring, severe lack of a (like-able) personality. Anyways, your last name probably isn't Richman, and I doubt you would use that trivia as a pickup line on a woman. At least, it is a relevant comment in response to this video, unlike that of Trapdoor's.

Watching this & I just can't stop smiling. Richman is adorable. And it's a 'proper' song that is also really funny, which I think is harder to pull off than comedy songs, pastiches, etc.
