Two little mad scientists investigate Helium and Sulfer Hexafluoride. Rosie and Anna study Helium, a gas that is lighter than air, and Sulphur Hexafluorid (SF6), an inert gas that is much heavier than air. Just like the internet famous University of Bonn Physics Department Demonstration (Physikshow Uni Bonn) and Science Day displays they are able to magically float a small ship made of aluminum foil above the ground on a blanket of gas and then sink it by pouring the gas into the boat with a beaker. This is also known as the invisible water effect. Helium has the well known effect of raising the pitch of the voice. S6F has the opposite effect and lets you say things like "You're crazy man" (like Will Farrell in the movie Old School) or copy Darth Vader, "Luke, I am your father" (like James Earl Jones as Darth Vader in Star Wars). • Old school hahaha

  • Rosie and Anna piss me off due to my bad childhood experiences with younger siblings.

  • @DjGalm If he'd said that all he's done is see someone flip to get it out then i wouldn't think he was a retard, but he claims that he got up in front of his AP Chemistry class and flipped while using this stuff, and he also said that he personally has passed out because he didn't flip. That makes him both a liar and a retard.

  • @mynameismatt2010 Yo, I've seen a video of someone flipping to let it out. I really can't remember where I saw it here but I'm telling you this because whoever you are arguing with in the comments is right about what they saw. Now, whether it was necessary to flip or not, I don't know.

  • @hithur True, but this fool is talking about passing out after breathing the gas, as if the gas stays in your lungs.

  • @mynameismatt2010 also the reason you can pass out if you breath too much of it in is due to the decrease in volume of oxygen that can actually be transferred to the bloodstream. yes SF6 is an inert gas but it still takes up space.

  • @mynameismatt2010 actually you are very wrong on many levels. the reason the effect goes away after talking for a bit is because the effect is on your VOICEBOX, it has nothing to do with your lungs. SF6 is very dense and WILL settle in the bottom of your lungs, you do not completely breath it out after a single breath. this is because you never fully evacuate your lungs during normal breathing, there is about 20% of the volume left over.

  • Sulfur hexafluoride is completely nontoxic. It is actually used to form a gas barrier during retinal surgery and to study blood circulation. You could breathe it, but I wouldn't breathe a whole lot of it because it is so dense that it could actually take time to clear it from your lungs- it can leave you lightheaded.

  • lol at all the nerds below me

  • Where did you get the sulfur hexafluoride from?
