im black and i am a guy. I used to have dark marks on my jawline from acne, i started using Tumeric, Lemon juice,and chickpea flour/Ladoo besan, once a day on my face as an exfoliating mask. i am happy to say that even though i get an occasional breakout, i don't have any dark marks on my jawline, got rid of the marks in less than a month. oh and it cost me 5 bucks.

i feel u girl. my dad saw me without makeup and couldnt stop talking about it! omg !... he bought me a prescription of proactive but it wasnt working that well for me. if u are just trying to get rid of acne, i suggest cetaphil cleanser. my skin is soft, but what about the dark spots? i recently started using raw African black soap. alot of black women with our issue swear by it so ima try and see results. keep us updated on ur journey. stay blessed

@loveablelala yeah my dad saw me without it and made me see a dematologist. My acne is not bad at all. And some advice on the black soap.... I've tried it for acne and scars for a long time and it worked for the acne but after a while, it dried my skin out and my face always had the black soap on it because it was hard to wash away completely....... then my skin started breaking out because it irritated it. So I had to stop wearing it! Oh and it made my eyes burn lol.

@Mollique2 But the pro-active did work for me it was a miracle! It got rid of the acne and started to fade the scars. The reason why I stopped is because it dried my skin out and it took forever for the acne scars to disapear. But the acne stopped in like two weeks so that was a plus.

I know it sounds a little disgusting but drink vinegar and water. I didnt believe it at first but it does wonders for the skin. Try Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar at least 3 tablespoons a day or however much you van stand..you will see a difference in your skin :) hope this helps because I too had the same issue...it also works as a topical solution.

It looks like you've used it on your whole face because your neck and face look to different colours.. You should only put it on the dark spots and scars , hope this helps! (I'm telling you from what I've seen in reviews and it works for them!)

its time consuming it takes atleast 3 months to see a difference if you are faithfully consistent. 2 weeks will not show a difference JUST YET Ambi is wonderful for your skin, I use the foaming cream as well to clear and even my skin tone and follow up with my fade cream... I have a dermatologist and personally the things they were givin me weren't to where ambi was when I compared... I have stopped because I became lazy BUT I am gonna start back up tonight!! I hope you the best on your journey

U should try the Likas papaya soap it really works and you don't get acne anymore. It just drys up the face after so using Oil Free moisturizer will help. And its cheap :)...

I pick my acne too and I've been using mine for two weeks now and I saw results!

Funny thing is I only use it once a day, and that's when I get out of the shower.

kept using it for 4-5 months and I was like. HOLY SHIT lol. He has almost perfect skin now. :)

Your skin is making too much oil, you probably have dry skin!

Oily skin and moisterizer? When it's oily it's craving for moisture! That's why it gets oily. GET PROACTIVE, SRSLY IT WORKS. When you shower exfoliate and use the third step, I mix it with Vaselines pro retinol and let it dry and then put on my NONE COMODEGENIC sunscreen. Srsly. What a difference.

@Mollique2 hey you can find all of this stuff at a local supermarket, there are tutorials on youtube about how to make the masks and how to apply them. i had a bad pimple of my nose, its been there for 2 months now, just a clogged darkened poor. i used honey and lemon juice on it finally after realizing my clarisil wasn't working, you make a mask of some drops of lemon juice and honey, leave it on for 15 minutes, 3 days of peeling and dryness, the darkness is gone and so is the raised pimple.
